Essay for homework

Essay on "Middle School: How I Survived Bullies, Broccoli, and Snake Hill" by James Patterson

The "Middle School" series is about a middle school student named Rafe Khatchadorian. He's not the greatest student. He's been expelled(twice(the second unofficially)), he's an extremely huge troublemaker( tried breaking all the rules of his school in sixth grade), and has always been the target of bullying. Now he is in a camp to do some remedial work over the summer. It didn't go well. But I think it did go well for him in the end, and here's why. This is also some of the reasons that I like the book
For starters, he made a lot of new friends. And they were also targets of bullying, like him, so they could relate to Rafe. I really see a bond grow between him and this kid named Norman. Norman was bullied a lot, and he had a really, really mean father, like Rafe(Book 1). I like who Rafe can relate to most of the characters, and I also am inspired by his determination to get revenge. This shows up in each of the books. I also like his sister, Georgia, because of the role she plays in helping Rafe, even though they constantly prank each other at any other given time. The story has a bunch of intricate quotes and it's somewhat sad at some parts, mainly parts involving Norman. His nickname is Booger Eater and this kid named Doolin always tries to taunt him and his other cabin-mates. This is why I like Rafe. His bullies are normally much stronger than him, but he does not submit to the bullying and he always tries to stop the bullying before it intensifies. Normally it works. He knows what to do to stop bullying, and that's why I like his character and the Middle School stories.
In my view, The middle school books each tackle the issues of peer pressure and bullying. It shows how they really hurt people and how people are affected by that. But it shows more than bullying. It shows how people respond to bullying and how people try to stop it, even though most people would disapprove of. Even so, Rafe's determination to get something done is a true inspiration

New Book Finished

Finished "Half Magic during Project REAL today."
The book was very interesting. It's basically about four siblings who find a coin that grants wishes. Well, not exactly. It only grants half the wish. I recommend this book.
